Back in March 2020...

The first Convoy rolled out in March 2020.

As of July 2022, we are 2 years old! 

We’ve had over 400 members, helped over 250 into new roles and 60+ on their entrepreneurial journeys. Our cohort of “Rock Your Roll”ers have proved there is an alternative to traditional onboarding that makes a practical difference when starting new jobs. 

All this has been made possible by the generosity of many people:

  • The founder, Christopher Ross, who has worked tirelessly (unpaid) to keep Convoy rolling

  • 70+ speakers who have generously given their time to speak at our Guest events

  • A dedicated core of volunteers who take responsibility for introductions, the guest speaker program, and leading the “retros”

  • The Members, without whom none of this works! There is no Community without people supporting each other: by showing up and listening, members of the Convoys get the hope, reassurance, inspiration and, above all, accountability they need to get the job done!  

 

The positive impact that helping others has on individual mental wellbeing is well known, and confirmed in numerous scientific studies. The same is observed in Convoy, and we intend to keep doing it!

With Convoy we generate powerful structures so that anyone striving to reach a particular goal has Accountability to get it done, and Community to stay sane while they do it.

ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TRAVEL WELL, AND ARRIVE WELL

By this we mean that the journeys we take throughout life – looking for a new job/role/gig, starting a new venture, retraining or transitioning into a new phase of ones career – are taken in the company of others on a similar path; that they are great, positive experiences; and that when you reach your objective, you arrive well: in good shape, with your sanity intact, ready and up for whatever comes next!
